"It's Not Me It's You" by Submotion Orchestra

I was listening to DJ Target's 1xtra set on BBC Radio and he opened it with a heavy track by a home-grown collective called Submotion Orchestra.  They describe themselves as a "dubstep orchestra."  Huh?  At first I thought that such a phrase was an oxymoron but then I listened... and became a believer.  Their single, "It's Not Me It's You," is a break-up anthem.  The groovy instrumentation paired with soulful vocals will keep vibing to the Submotion sound.

Kyla - Do You Mind (Crazy Cousinz)

Where were you in 2008 when Crazy Cousinz and Kyla drop this funky house anthem?  Don't beat yourself up if you cannot recall.  Just know that this track has the power to bring a dance floor to its knees with its sexy bassline, Yoruba inflections and signature Crazy Cousinz chant.  It can also be found on my latest mix.

"Future" (Yam Who Remix) by Genius Collective

This track has been on "repeat" in my car for the past couple of weeks.  Genius Collective has put together a funky, synth-laden, dance track that has stayed in Casa Nostra's rotation.  In fact, I liked it so much, I put it in one of my mixes.

Shout out to DJ Kent and Maleh for joining forces and creating "Falling." Sexy vocals, a driving house beat and a coquettishly confident disposition make this yet another "must know" track for all of you house-heads.

South Africa's dance music is on FIRE!!!  If you have already heard songs by Black Coffee, Bucie and DJ Mujava's "Township Funk"then you know exactly what I am talking about.  Another artist that I'd like to bring into the conversation is Zakes Bantwini.  This brother has smooth vocal and a sex appeal that stands alone.  Don't believe me?  Check out his duet with Bucie called "Do You" which can be found on my Afro Chill Mix.

"Tonight" (ft. Meshell Ndegeocello) by Miguel Migs

Now, I know that I don't have to tell you that Miguel Migs + Meshell Ndegeocello = 1 extra sexy house track but I had to break it down mathematically for those of you who may not.  From the thumping bassline to the luscious vocals this song will have you grooving from beginning to end.
